The hosts were very friendly and made lots of effort to welcome me

Leamington and Warwick Nightstop young person

Nightstop is a service that is suitable for young people who are homeless or likely to be made homeless and are aged between 16 and 25.

What happens on Nightstop?

You will be given a bed in a room of your own for one night at a time, you will also be given an evening meal, a chance to have a bath or shower and breakfast the next morning.

The volunteers who provide the accommodation are called hosts. All volunteers involved with Nightstop are checked by the Criminal Records Bureau to make sure they are suitable to take care of young people.

To see if there is a Nightstop scheme in your area use the 'Nightstop near you' link below.

You can ring the Nightstop scheme direct and they will give you help and advice on how best to solve your accommodation problems. Alternatively if you know of a project in your area that works with young people you could ask them to contact Nightstop on your behalf.

The Nightstop scheme will need to know some information about you to make sure that it is the best option for you. The information you give will be treated in confidence.

It may be possible for you to stay on Nightstop for a number of nights until a longer term solution can be found.
